The FutureGen Alliance has released a Request for Site Proposals for communities that wish to be considered to host the carbon dioxide storage site for the proposed Futuregen 2.0 oxy-combustion plant in Meredosia, Illinois. The Alliance will host a bidder's meeting, followed by a public meeting, Thursday, October 28, 2010. Details can be found at the following link:
